I first started teaching swim lessons at 16. At first I thought it would be just a fun summer job. I had no idea back then this would become my full time career. I taught swim lessons and coached swim team throughout high school and college. After graduating from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Apparel Merchandising, I worked as an Assistant Manager at Nordstrom. I then started working as a Children’s Aquatics Coordinator. I worked there for seven years before purchasing Chicago Swim School with Rob. I am the mother of four children, Anthony, Maxwell, Isabella, and Cecelia. When I am not busy with my kids or working I enjoy doing crafts. I love scrap booking and doing home improvement projects!

Teaching has always been a love and passion. I started teaching swimming when I was 16 and coached at various teams after college. I eventually taught Physical Education at a high school after graduating Eastern Illinois University. After teaching at the high school level for 3 years, I was called back into aquatics and found a new love and passion for leadership and training staff. When the opportunity to purchase Chicago Swim School presented itself, I was able to blend my love for teaching with leadership and staff training. While I still love teaching, my fulfillment now comes from developing staff into leaders who can make their own impact. I reside in Oak Lawn and have 2 kids, Ryne and Kira. In my free time I am an avid cyclist and skier.
